My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I’ll have a long beard by the time I read them.”

  2. Here's what I wrote, next to my wall units. "After love, book collecting is the most exhilarating sport of all". A.S.W.Rosenbach

Your combination of titles and love is fascinating, Sean.

  3. Grazie, Signora Limoncello.

I wonder what stories your library could tell. Fancy to join?

    JD,
Thanks for the Arnold Lobel quotation. Very fitting, especially the first and the fourth line.
I wonder what length my beard would have by now, had I not kept it short throughout all the decades.

    Claude,
Mr. Rosenbach's remark does not lack of accuracy, ... as long as quality equals quantity.
Collecting for the sake of collecting would not deserve the silver medal.

Glad you did not get bored yet.
Indeed fascinating is that meanwhile I could - could! - pile up more than 70 books.
And by changing the order they could tell quite different stories.
Apart from that there are loads of (short) mashups waiting to get posted.
Nice side-effect: I could have one post a day until ?, and would not have to write one single line. ...
